Summary:
Under the general direction of the HR Manager, this position is responsible for HR and Benefits Administration.
Provide support to the HR Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred 1 Years' experience in Human Resources preferred Primary Position
Responsibilities:
Prepare source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits and maintaining HRIS systems.
Administer and monitor new hire orientation programs, Compensation and benefits.
Maintain employment, attendance records.
Manage sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, plan and protect the security of information, data and files Arrange business travel for associates and visitors.
Order business cards Communicate and work closely with sister companies to complete special projects and routine tasks on compensation, health and medical plan enrollment and FMLA claims.
Administer employee relations and reward and recognition plan.
Other duties as assigned.
Administer office supplies and purchase order.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
Knowledge of Compensation and Benefits and Health.
High proficiency in Kronos, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer to produce accurate and well-presented reports.
Bilingual - English and Spanish (read, write and speak).
Flexibility to work overtime as business requires.
Communicate effectively verbally as well as through writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and targets and deliver effective results.
Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
